We talk about it a lot, so by now you may be well aware that we run the Heating Installer Awards. While it’s definitely a niche set of awards to own and run, as a bi-product it provides the team here at Refresh with the chance to get involved with something away from the regular PR client account.
Since last summer we’ve been signing up sponsors (this is how the awards are funded), ramping up the social media, eshots, press relations and logging and taking entries from installers up and down the UK.
We don’t judge the awards, as we leave that to the experts within the heating sector, but we do prepare all the information that they will need to make the best choices.
So we were extremely happy this week, when we revealed the best heating installers across the country. It’s the culmination of a great deal of hard work by a large team, and it marks the start of the second phase of the awards as we edge closer to announcing 2023’s winner.
According to our technical judges, this year’s entries were of a higher standard than ever before!
It’s now that the team here at Refresh is able to really get their teeth into different tasks. From designing the show exhibition stand to organising the running order of winner’s day, through to drumming up even more support for the awards on Instagram and TikTok and ensuring sponsors are up to speed, there’s a job to suit everyone’s strengths!
After the media push to support the regional winner’s announcement, the team will start to plan the regional winner’s event, taking place in May over at Stelrad. A group of around 14 installers will join us for the day. As we said at the start, the awards have many different uses, It’s at this time that we’re able to introduce ourselves, our trade influencer service, and really learn how each of them likes to work so that we can make this the best service it can be.
