CMAs 2022: The nominations are out and it’s a perfect 10 for Refresh!

Refresh has been nominated for – and won – many Construction Marketing Awards over the years, but 2022 has topped the charts with a massive 10 nominations across eight categories. We are incredibly proud that all four of the clients we entered secured nominations.

The Construction Marketing Awards showcase the industry’s innovation and effectiveness in marketing. They received a record number of entries this year and Refresh managed to stand out from the crowd in multiple categories. Diversifying our services to move away from ‘traditional PR’ has allowed Refresh to reap some great results and offer our clients, campaigns incorporating digital PR, media buying, market research and more.

Laura Mashiter, MD of Refresh, explains: “I’m challenged a lot about our work in the construction sector. Some even ask me why we want to work in a sector which they see as ‘traditional’. This always makes me smile, as those commenting only need to take one look at the award entries to realise it’s anything but. This is an exciting sector, full of innovation, creativity and great collaboration and we’re extremely lucky to have these awards for the construction sector. We don’t see the same marketing-based awards in other sectors.”

The Refresh team will be making the trip from our Manchester HQ down to London for the annual awards ceremony in December. The competition will be fierce, but we’re excited to be surrounded by the top talent in the construction marketing industry and hoping to bring some trophies back up north on the train!
