The brief

supercharged commerce, part of the CTI Group, is an ecommerce agency that accelerates the growth of retail businesses through digital. As a relatively-newly launched sub brand, it wanted to raise its brand awareness across key sectors and generate leads that the sales team could follow up on. In order to do this, it appointed Refresh for a short but sweet four-month lead generation and brand awareness campaign.

We devised a content campaign, centred around the shopping habits and drivers of various generations post-pandemic – a topic that was perfect for supercharged’s core target audience, ambitious ecommerce retailers. Market research of 2,000 consumers, plus additional desk research, formed the basis for the content, which we drafted up into an educational eBook (around the shopping experiences of the future) that was hosted on the supercharged website behind a form fill.

The results

Once the initial legwork was done, we rolled out the content across both earned and owned channels – supercharged’s blog and social, plus media outreach to key titles – in order to drive traffic to the page. Over the course of the four-month campaign it delivered:

  • 23 pieces of targeted press coverage in national, trade and regional press – including The i, eConsultancy, Internet Retailing, Retail Systems, eCommerce Age and IT Pro
  • 77% of this coverage was in Tier 1 titles
  • 100% key message inclusion
