" />Within the whirlwind of wrapping InstallerSHOW 2024 and campaign implementation for Q2, we’ve rolled out the red carpet for three new team members at Refresh PR. Coming from near and far, and a range of different PR background, meet Gareth, Jania and Harry.
Gareth – Account Manager
With 10 years of well-rounded experience on both the journalism and PR side of the industry, Gareth is taking the Account Manager role head on at Refresh.
Gareth has multiple recognitions worth shouting about as a CIPR Accredited PR Practitioner and NCTJ Gold Standard Journalist, so he’s bringing a toolkit of expertise to our team, having previously worked for marketing/PR agencies and local media outlets as a reporter and Deputy Editor.
With a knack for writing and experience across multiple sectors, Gareth brings a variety of skills and ideas to produce top content for our clients.
Gareth is also an ambitious team leader and is heavily focused on supporting and growing his teams at Refresh.
“I’m thrilled to be joining Refresh and I’m looking to use my experience in local journalism, communications and PR to bring new ideas to the agency. We have some really exciting campaigns in the works for our clients which I can’t wait to lead and be a part of.”
When he’s not curating a press release, you can find Gareth at Wrexham AFC games, music gigs, or tucking into a meal at one of Manchester’s many great restaurants.
Jania – Senior Account Manager
Coming all the way from the land down under, Jania has joined our team as a Senior Account Manager. With over 4 years of experience in food and beverage, construction, manufacturing, experiences and events sectors – from both a consumer and corporate perspective – Jania is ready to apply her experience to best service our clients.
Her expertise lies in earned media, ranging from mainstream media to business thought-leadership to marketing press, with additional experience in social media, experiential PR, and content production.
“I’m so excited to dive into the thriving PR industry here in Manchester and the UK more broadly. At Refresh, I’m keen to deliver creative campaigns for our clients with the amazing and supportive team here, as well as build our relationships with key media.”
In her spare time, Jania enjoys live music, touch footy, and trying out new eateries with friends.
Harry – Account Executive
Meet our new Account Executive who has been firing off tasks since he started with us, Harry. He’s a Lancaster University graduate with both a BSc and MSc in Marketing – applying his learned knowledge in the world of PR and Marketing for over a year.
Harry has a background in science marketing and PR, with his skills lying in SEO, SEM and LLM. He’s been supporting the wider team at Refresh across all touch points including drafting content for owned and earned channels, managing media buying projects and furthering relationships with journalists.
“The team at Refresh have been really supportive and I’m eager to continue growing my PR and marketing career here. I’m enjoying the variety of work I’ve been able to run and own, building relationships with the clients, as well as improving my skills and learning new things every day.”
Harry also loves supporting his local football team, running, and checking out new bakeries.
