Its official, we made it into double figures with the Heating Installer Awards! Today marks the launch of the 10^th year of the awards; and that will mean that by the end of the 2025 campaign we will be able to celebrate 10 national winners and well over 100 worthy finalists who have all won recognition for being at the top of their game in the heating and plumbing sector. 

Refresh owns and runs the awards, making them truly different in so many ways. The awards are run like a marketing/PR client, so activity takes place throughout the 12 months, with a variety of events, press, social media, and direct activity all building month by month until we’re able to crown our winners at InstallerSHOW.

Events? Yes! This year we have:

• Legends event: we invite previous winners, sponsors and partners along for a day of training, networking and a couple of afternoon drinks
• Judging day: a chance for sponsors, partners, previous winners, trusted installers and journalists to come together to name the best-of-the-best
• Finalists ‘25 event: more training delivered from sponsors to our newly crowned finalists, together with a curry, a couple of drinks and an overnight stay! 
• The ceremony: on the plaza at InstallerSHOW ’25 (NEC, June)
• Plus each sponsor will receive an event or bespoke activation to help boost their profile in recognition of their support

Unlike any other awards, the ceremony itself takes place in the daytime at a show where most of the industry gathers, meaning it’s an awards truly run for installers.

We also have two new elements being introduced this year which we can’t talk about just yet – but watch this space! Both will ensure that installers continue to be at the heart of everything we do with the awards. 

This year we welcome a new sponsor, Powered Now, to add to our line up of loyal sponsors who have supported us over the years to ensure the awards continue to be free of charge for the installers to enter.
