Helping Reco build momentum in modular

The past few weeks have thrown a lot of challenges our way. But at Refresh we believe with every challenge comes an opportunity. So, we’ve spent the last few months working hard for existing clients, as well as onboarding a few new ones.

Building products manufacturer, Reco Surfaces, is one of the clients we added to our portfolio during lockdown. We’ve been working with the wall covering specialist since June to increase its profile in key growth sectors, including offsite and volumetric modular construction – areas we’re seeing a number of our clients keen to break into.

We really relish working with clients that are innovating in their fields, and thinking of new ways of doing things to help progress the sectors they’re supplying. Reco’s wall coverings do just that – they look exactly like ceramic tiles but are loads easier to apply, more economically friendly, as well as being easier to maintain. And it’s not just us that are impressed with Reco – it works with a number of prestigious global brands including Premier Inn, Greene King, Butlins, NHS and Pets at Home.

Reco was one of the first clients we properly onboarded in a fully locked-down, working from home environment. We were pleased with how quickly and smoothly we were able to undertake a strategy and key messaging session and get rolling on the account. We still think you struggle to beat a face to face meeting (and we’re really missing seeing our clients in person) but if the past few months have taught us anything, it’s that you can do pretty much anything over trusty zoom!

We’re already enjoying getting stuck into the account and over the past week, we’ve secured coverage for Reco in a number of key trade titles including KBB Daily and Building Talk.

If you’re familiar with Refresh, you’ll know that we work with multiple clients across the built environment sector, whether it’s to help them build brand awareness, reach new markets, or even directly contribute to generating sales leads. While it’s not going to be an easy year for the construction sector, the emphasis Government is putting on the industry with its ‘build back better’ strategy, plus the housing target shortfall the country is currently facing, means that the opportunities absolutely will be there for businesses that can get their voices heard.

If you’re a business working in the built environment or construction sector and would like to chat about how we could help you thrive, we’d love to chat! Just contact us here.
