We were back at Birmingham NEC earlier this week, this time for The Care Show, as we worked on stand with alsico to bring the innovation and technology involved in its garments to life!
alsico is a major supplier to the NHS Healthcare Uniform Framework, and was at the show to showcase its products to the wider care sector. We’ve done so much work with the sector over the past year, and the comfort of uniforms is really central to the type of work a carer needs to do, day-to-day, whether that’s lifting, reaching or carrying. It’s also very important to helping them feel comfortable and happy. Every body is different and uniform suppliers need to recognise this.
To demonstrate the comfort and flex that the technology within the garments is capable of, we approached Abbie, a trained ballet dancer, to come and support alsico on stand.
Her live demonstration was a great way to show visitors exactly how the technology works in practice and highlight that care unfirms don’t have to restrict movement or compromise on comfort. The reactions to Abbie’s performances were fantastic and her performances were exhibition-stoppers.
It was a busy day of conversations, media meetings, demos and plenty of dancing! Just the kind of activation at a trade event we love!
