Join our webinar in partnership with the CMAs for advice on humanising your brand

It’s common knowledge that people buy from people. However, humanising your brand to build employer brand isn’t always a simple and straightforward task. Despite this, we’re increasingly seeing large construction firms spotlight the human faces paving the way behind the scenes to attract and retain the best talent in the business.

At 12pm on Thursday 20th October 2022, we will be hosting a webinar alongside the Construction Marketing Awards to delve into how businesses are prioritising employer brand as a communications strategy, and within this, humanising their messaging.

Our very own managing director, Laura, and Lucy, associate director, will be joined by our client, Etex Building Performance and a member of the CMAs team for a panel discussion on how Refresh has been helping Etex to humanise its global business of over 10,000 employees.

A few weeks ago, we shared a blog centring on where to start when developing your employer brand strategy, with the webinar aimed at taking it that step further. It will offer tangible takeaways, in the form of hints, tips and creative ideas audiences can put into practice across their own businesses.

Taking a deep dive into employer brand

Employer brand is ultimately centred around showcasing your business and its values, while positioning it as a great place to work, as well as to do business with. Employer brand spotlights reputation as a workplace specifically, including internal culture and employee experience, playing a fundamental role in attracting and retaining talent, while humanising the brand.

During the webinar, we’ll look at why companies are focusing on this now in the current climate, as well as the benefits of building employer brand/humanising your business. We’ll also explore the channels that play a pivotal role in profiling the faces driving the business forward to external audiences, while highlighting the opportunities available to prospective talent.

It’s typically your employer brand that differentiates you from your competitors and makes you unique. So, getting this messaging right amongst external stakeholders can be incredibly rewarding and play a key role in not only telling your story, but improving sentiment/perception.

Key takeaways will centre on:
  • The essential building blocks a business needs in place to help shape its employer brand strategy
  • Recommended timing to start prioritising an employer brand strategy
  • The channels to capitalise on to humanise a construction brand
  • Recommended metrics to measure success
