It feels like only yesterday we were making our way to the Construction Marketing Awards 2023 ceremony, where we came away as proud winners of the Best Social Media Campaign for our work with Polypipe Building Products and Best Stakeholder/Internal Communications Campaign for Etex.
Ten shortlists, two wins – not a bad result!
The awards are important: not many sectors have their own marketing awards, and the fact friends and enemies are able to celebrate together while sharing a room – or even in some cases a table – sums up the ethos of the built environment sector and makes it one of the reasons this sector attracts such creative talent. It is (in a good way) a close-knit community of professionals just wanting to do a great job.
Likewise, we all need to give back when we can, to ensure the longevity of the awards. This year, once again, we’re sponsoring the event to do our bit to ensure it is as successful as ever.
We’ve never been judges of these awards, so unfortunately our sponsorship doesn’t mean we’re able to influence anything at all, but we will be entering a lot of our campaigns from 2023/24 into the awards to be judged alongside our peers. We’re currently working hard to get the entries in, and will update our blog later in the year with news of shortlists and wins!
